Baking cakes and other news

I wanted to post the pictures of Jake and I baking his birthday cakes for school. We made carrot cake mini-cakes in the shape of dinosaurs. They were a HUGE hit with all involved. In fact, we seriously over made the batter, so Mommy's office got a bundt cake out of it, which disappeared in record time. Yes, it WAS that good. Probably Jake's doing. He dumped dry ingredients in, beat the eggs, and mixed the batter. He was very excited.

Also wanted to share the picture with the guitar. He's destined to be a star: can't you just hear him saying "Look, why don't you papparazzi just leave me alone?"

So he's been having problems sleeping lately (thus, so have I). I think it may be, in part, a growth spurt. I went to put him in his high chair last night and he got stuck! He fit Wednesday. Now it's in the garage and he's sitting on a tall chair at the table. Just like that. Last night he "scared" his pony (puppet) and I asked him what Jake was scared of (because I think it may also be some nightmare issues) and he told me he's scared of robots. Oooooo Kaaaay. No idea where he' got robots or that they're scary. I don't think there are any robots at his school. How very random. So I tried to ward off the robots last night but was informed this morning that it didn't work. Must get stronger robot repellant. Anyone know where I can find some?
