As anyone who reads this blog knows, my child is a perfect and complete angel. His monkey, Bink, however, is another matter. Lately Bink has been acting out. He bit Daddy the other night while we were putting on Jake's PJs. Then, the next night, he hit Daddy. Of course, I gave him a stern talking to, made him apologize, and gave him a time out on both occasions. If you've never had to sternly reprimand a stuffed animal, I assure you it is an experience you won't forget. Bink, both times, was appropriately contrite and promised never to do it again. He's really a good monkey, I think he's just testing his boundaries. I think I beat out Jane Lynch for Best Supporting Actress just for scolding a stuffed monkey with a straight face.

I'm so sorry! I had no idea that Bink would turn into such a problem child! I'm glad you're being stern with him. And Jake now knows what the repercussions are for such behavior. {: >
That's right! You introduced this menace into the house! If Steve goes rabid from the monkey bite, we will know who to blame. :-)
